Surf Bandana Towel X Pendleton

$95.00 AUD

Pendleton’s role in American surf culture goes back to its beginnings. In the ‘50s, an early California

surfer wore trunks and a Pendleton on the waves, khakis and a Pendleton on the beach. In the early

1960s, Pendleton shirts hit the airwaves courtesy of the Majorettes, whose song “White Levis”

became a number one hit in 1963. Soon after, a group called The Pendletones began to sing

about the California surfing scene. They changed their name to the Beach Boys, but kept their

uniform of Pendleton shirts worn over tee shirts with khakis. In the years since, the sport of

surfing has migrated north to Oregon, where surfers ride the breaks at Arcadia Beach, Short

Sands, Indian Point and more.

This Jacquard beach towel features a traditional Pendleton surf design, and is perfect for the beach, home or spa.  100% Cotton
