Lump Nubbins are a series of small sculptures made by US artists, Adam Frezza and Terri Ciao.
They create a pulp from torn and stewed recycled paper pulp. Junk mail, old bank statements, scrap paper, and newspaper. The pulp is then pressed in their hands or through a screen, forming lumps that are then carefully transformed into Lump Nubbins with paint and plaster. Afterwards, each Lump Nubbin is affixed to it's own concrete plynth. Each is unique, and one off.
Lump Nubbins vary slightly in size, but range between 5cm and 10 cm in height and girth.
