Louise Bourgeois at Hauser & Wirth
Greeted by a bronze spider as you enter, the new Louise Bourgeois exhibition at Hauser & Wirth Somerset is truly on our (we wish) to do list, especially since Third Drawer Down Studio x Louise Bourgeois products are scattered beautifully throughout the gift shop.
While the large scale sculpture sets the scene for what's to come, there are also 38 prints on display, made by Bourgeois between 1996 and 2010. Together the collection has been reported to project a wonderful picture of the artists mindset in her methods. She is an absolute inspiration to Third Drawer Down, and Abi was honoured to have met her before she passed away. As a studio we are also honoured to have our products available at the show, which guess what, are also available now at Third Drawer Down.
Our Louise Bourgeois silk eye mask, packaged on a self portrait of the artist and reversible with Louise Bourgeois print on reverse side.
Our Louise Bourgeois kids Memory Card Game, including 48 cards featuring textile works from the artists book 'Ode À La Bièvre'.
Our Louise Bourgeois coaster set featuring bold blue works from 'Ode À La Bièvre'
Our Louise Bourgeois Cat Pouch featuring Louise's 'self portrait' work of a five legged cat.
