One for the Mama's!
We're all for the mama's here at Third Drawer Down, which is why we made sure we were packed to the rafters with the best gifts for Mother's Day. This year we're wrapping natives in Third Drawer Down Studio Tea Towels and serving mum up fig jam and quince tea from our favourite new cookbook "I Know How to Cook'-we totally don't, but we nearly do now! In fact it's all about the humble tea towel, think of the possibilities! Wrap flowers in them, bake mum a batch of scones wrapped in one, bake anything and wrap it in a tea towel! Such a personal, special gift.
Here's some more from our Mother's Day mood board.

Sam Francis wool scarf from Third Drawer Down Studio. Beautiful watercolour detail from the wonderful Sam Francis. We had the pleasure of working with the Sam Francis foundation last year and the wool scarf is a clear favourite. Can just as easily become an artwork and looks beautiful just draped on the wall. Also a scarf, of course!
Has the Del Kathryn Barton clutch ever looked better? The clutch is the new vase. You heard it here first. The Highway is a Disco clutch is a special one for us, we love working with Australian artists and Del has been a dream come true for lots of us! These clutches make the perfect make-up purses, fill it with treats for mum this Mother's Day.
Tom Dixon candles are the ultimate 'acceptable' candle gift! Basically, they're not an easy way out gift they are thoughtful and a beautiful keepsake in our eyes. We like to turn them into planters once we've burnt them! Having a piece of Tom Dixon is pretty special.
What a beauty. Our new silk scarf from Melbourne talent and mega cool designer Ghost Patrol. This gorgeous silk print of Tokyo has so many characters and crazies to explore. Looks beautiful worn but it is superb framed! He only made 50 too-if that isn't a personal gift I don't know what is!
Last but not least, Breakfast in Bed. Every mum is secretly hoping it's on the cards. We have the perfect breakfast in bed set up, that's a dog in a teacup, see? Perfect.
