Since 1990 I have made work from a broad range of mediums that have taken the form of sculptures, pictures, wall drawings, photographs, publications and installations. The works engage with the ideas of identity, memory and displacement.  I have been influenced by popular culture, art history, suburban and cultural icons. I have made work-using materials that relates to toys and games from childhood and adolescence, that includes, felt pictures inspired by the activity of the game fuzzy felt. Animal and human habitats have also been a focus.
I am interested in the anthropomorphic qualities of tree forms and in the cartoon and fantasy qualities of manicured trees. Most recently I have been translating these natural forms into sculptures, that are in groups, made from the synthetic materials of fur and felt. Sometimes the tree forms accompany sculptures of buildings that are based on a memory of places that I have either visited, lived in, imagined or designed for animals.

My tea towels are kept in the hall closet, the same place as the towels and linen. After they are washed and folded they are put away at the same time and it makes sense to keep them all in the same place.
