In 2004, Third Drawer Down released a version of 'Rose Banksia' (edition 1000) which was commissioned by Form, the Craft Council of Western Australia.
This work was celebrated all around the world for its richness, beauty and incredible narrative. Patrons sent in email after email about how this work changed their lives and their home.
This tea towel (edition 500) is being exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney in October 2006 – the exhibition is titled ‘Multiplicity’ and is a major survey on the art multiple.
To celebrate Third Drawer Down turning three and the Multiplicity exhibition, we have brought out this very special edition in its original form with the two embroidered red roses.
It comes with the essay for the exhibition 'Fancywork' by Holly Story in 2000 by Dr Ann Shilo in a beautiful hand signed gold envelope.
Please don't miss out this time. This work is an important work of art in the history of Australian Art and a collectors piece already.
